2. Data Collection and Usage
No Remote Tab Tracking
TabShelf requires permissions to "read" your tabs in order to group and freeze them. However, your tab metadata (URLs, titles, favicons) is never transmitted to us or any third-party server. All data operations are restricted to your local instance of Google Chrome.
Local Storage
Your shelved tabs are saved offline within your browser using the Chrome Local Storage API (`chrome.storage.local`). This allows you to restore sessions seamlessly without relying on cloud synchronization.
3. Data Transmission and Third Parties
We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash logs, or any behavioral metrics. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your saved workspace information under any circumstance.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
